When I lived in England, the weather kind of rolls in from the Atlantic, and can be a bit unpredictable. Actually that was a funny thing to say, because I assume that the weather still rolls in, even though I haven't lived there for years.
So, you get the point - the weather in England is unpredictable. It rains. A Lot!
Now, having said that, let's look at where I am now, Canada. In the winter, it snows. No rain. At least not much, and if it does, it then freezes over before draining away, making the roads and driveways like a sheet of ice. Actually, not LIKE a sheet of ice, they ARE a sheet of ice.
So, I have to grudgingly admit that I miss the rain.
But not today I don't.
It is raining so hard that the gutters on the house are overflowing. Actually, it doesn't have to rain hard for that to happen, the gutters are still full of stuff left over from when the roof was redone last year!
But it is still raining hard.
It is also hot.
Next, the rain will stop, and the mosquitoes will appear and I will get bitten to death.
I have changed my mind.
I can't stand the rain!
