While The Wife Was Out, I Flooded The House!

I didn't really flood the house fitting my new bath taps, but I could have. The well we have is called a 'sand-point', and is like a piece of pointed pipe that we hammer into the ground, it goes down 12 to 16 feet, and has holes in the sides of it covered with stainless steel gauze where the water can be sucked up from. So, it takes the water right from the water table. An endless supply. So, I have to be sure that my plumbing is good, otherwise if something breaks while we are out, the water will be pumped up into the house until we return. So, anyway, I got some of my pipes soldered up, and tested them, and I have a small leak. Why is it that I can never get pipes to be watertight the first time I do the job? - Oh, I know why, I am NOT a plumber, that's why. That is why plumbers earn big money - because they know what they are doing. And for the same reason, I earn nothing.
