French Cars

Actually, talking about touring France by car, reminds me of the cars that they have there. They are typically small, easy on gas, this being because France has always had high gas prices. They also have weird suspension, as the roads there can be poor, so the suspension is soft, allowing the body to roll a lot around corners, but they have the unique feature that the roll has a stopping point, so they lean only so much, then tighten up.
Of course, this experience was years ago when in England, so maybe they have changed from the days of the Renault 4 and the Citroen 2CV.
